from a supplier of building materials and contracting to a unique integrated company structured around 3 strategic business units: building materials,
construction, and property development.

Civic Ltd., formerly known as Randabel & Sons Ltd., is founded. Main
activities include the production and supply of building materials and
contracting.

| 1967 |
Scope of activities broadens to include ready-mixed concrete, asphalt
and road works.
|
| 1988 |
Change of ownership; current Management takes over and Gamma-Civic Ltd.
(GCL) is born.

| 1990 |
Major investment programme in anticipation of the construction industry
boom.

| 1994 |
GCL is listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius.
|
1994 |
Sustained growth through a combination of acquisitions and greenfield
developments.

| 1998 |
GCL enters the sand market through a major marine sand-dredging project.
|
| 2000 |
GCL commissions a state of the art cement terminal at Mer Rouge – the
5th largest horizontal silo terminal in the world. GCL completes its first
major property development project – the Hilton Mauritius Resort – of
which it is a major shareholder.

| 2002 |
GCL undergoes a major change management programme. Implementation of
new systems based on cutting edge technology to achieve world-class service.

| 2004 |
The company appointed Harwood Kirsten Leigh McCoy(HKLM), leading branding
consultants from South Africa to re-image Gamma’s corporate identity, reposition the brand
locally and internationally and implement a comprehensive internal brand alignment programme.
The new corporate identity was launched on 9 November 2004.

| 2005 |
Implementation and completion of a state of the art production facility at La Chaumiere. This new station, located in the proximity of developing zones is in line with our objective to supplying quality products through a first class service.

| 2008 |
Implementation and completion of a state of the art facility at St Julien d'Hotman. This new station marks Gamma's entry into the eastern market. |
